    Actually his original name is Børge Victor Rosenbaum. He ‘erased’ Rosenbaum, switched his first names and changed the ‘ø’ to something English-speakers knew how to pronounce :)

    i saw victor borge perform this in the 1950s. I think this is the funniest piece of comedy ever written. He was an amazing comic and a wonderful pianist. it’s great to watch him again
