conanobriengirl posted: Hello. I bought a Yamaha keyboard, capable of midi functions, yesterday.
The Music and Arts people I bought it from said that I could hook it up to my computer using a USB cable.
I did so but it doesn’t seem to work with Sibelius. I play notes on the keyboard but Sibelius doesn’t do anything, like it’s not recognizing it or connected.
Can someone help me and tell me how to make my keyboard work as a midi controller for Sibelius? Thanks.

.. posted: People are telling me to get it with weighted keys..so I’ll do that, but what are weighted keys?
And how many keys do you think should be on my keyboard?
And someone else told me Y!A, that I should get one with 7 octaves.. if I want to play like a real piano.. so what else?
