Product Description
The F110 is the lastest addition to Rolands popular compact digital-piano range. Sitting squarely inbetween the FP4 and the DP990, the F110 is a stylish and compact piano, pictured here finished in Satin Black. The sturdy and attractive wooden cabinet measures just 30cm depth, allowing the F-110 to fit easily into bedrooms or any other room with restricted space. A folding-lid covers and protects the keys when closed, and serves as a music stand when open. Unlike some lower priced Roland pianos, the F-110 comes complete with it's stand which houses 3-pedals, set out as you'd find on an acoustic piano.
The keyboard on the Roland F-110 is an 88-key Progressive Hammer Action PHA alpha II keyboard, as found on the much more expensive Roland pianos. This gives you the authentic feel of an acoustic grand, with a weightier touch in the lower registers and a lighter touch at the higher notes. The position of the pedals is also smoothly detected, causing the sound to be shaped in response to the depth to which a pedal is pushed. Again, this gives the player a much more natural response, leading to a more expressive playing experience.
Among the other high quality onboard sounds, the sound generator on the F110 produces Rolands finest 88-key concert grand-piano sound. Each individual note has been individually multi-sampled giving the Roland F110 one of the most realistic grand piano sounds on a keyboard in this price range. Along with this is an onboard metronome, song recorder, 3 band digital equaliser and a reverb as well as split key and twin piano keyboard modes. The built in speakers produce a rich, warm tone and there's also a standard headphone socket for silent practice, MIDI in/out for computer connectivity and a stereo line out for recording or plumbing into a live PA system.
