Organ lessons are very different from piano lessons. The piano and the organ are two completely different instruments. In organ, you would learn different fingering techniques that you wouldn’t do on piano, i.e. finger crossing (like crossing your fourth finger over your fifth for a legato style), substitution (where you play a note with one finger, and then during the duration of the note, you switch to a different finger, to free the first one), finger and thumb “glissandos” (same finger from a black to white key, or your thumb from a black to white, or white to white). Plus, you would learn all about pedaling technique, and do’s and dont’s that come with that.
I think that organ lessons would be worth your time, because if you find that you enjoy playing the organ, money-wise, it would be a lot easier to find a job because there are not many good organists out there. As far as musically, organ lessons would make you a better piano player, as you will play legato on the piano far easier.
Hope this helps!! Good luck to you.

There is a “vast” difference; the organ is not just another keyboard instrument.
It has “multiple” keyboards, and I think at least 2 1/2 octaves of foot pedals, which are played just as the keys on the keyboard, but only with your feet.
For some people it might be easy: you might be one; I wasn’t – was never able to co-ordinate my feet with my hands. Gave up after 6 wks. of lessons, and I was a fairly good pianist.
It addition to this difference, you have an array of “stops”(which enables the organ to sound like many different kinds of instruments)plus 2 pedals to open/close shutters to regulate the volume of sound.
If you feel you may be up to all of these challenges, you might contact an organ instructor, to see if they would give you just one lesson, and let them evaluate your potential as a possible student.
Good luck,
Alberich
