Is this machine a Synthesizer ? What’s the main difference between a Synthesizer and a Keyboard. I am trying to learn the basics here. Keeping that in mind , I am thinking a keyboard is same as a synthesizer , but a synthesizer is much more advanced ?

A keyboard is like a piano. It’s just a board you press the keys on.
A synthesizer synthesises (in other word, it “fakes”) sounds. It can synthesize sounds of other instruments, for example, that have nothing to do with a piano. A synthesizer has a keyboard, just like a computer has a keyboard. It’s just the interface by which the composer tells the internal system what to do.
