    Yes, you can. But I wouldn´t recommend it. I tell this to you on personal experience. I began learning piano by myself (I began when I was 17 so its pretty hard now) and then was able to get some private lessons. My teacher had to correct many many errors since I learnt things in the bad manner. Its better if you get private lessons. Nothing better than a human teacher.

    You can take on-line piano lessons and especially if you want to just learn a couple of songs. You tube is good for that. But i would recommend getting a good teachers and instructor. Its the best and most efficient way. Try to learn things on your own also. It all pays off in the end.
